該產品在傳統產品基礎上作如下重大改進：
左右立柱導軌和整體加寬，提高整機剛性，特別是需增加工件高度規格時立柱加高保持整機工作剛度。
工作臺主傳動由變頻電機經高低二檔切換，實現無級變速，操作方便。
進給傳動：左右刀架各由二個伺服電機經驅動器控制，實現快速，進給機動，無級變速。亦可用電子手輪，操作精確輕便。
進給傳動只需增加數控系統即能將刀架數控化，實現二軸聯動，加工圓弧面。
